Built Around Barrier Integrity

Nylo Room was founded on the belief that skin health begins with the barrier. Many modern treatments overstimulate already-compromised skin, leading to sensitivity, inconsistent results, and setbacks. The philosophy here focuses on restoring skin function first, so that corrective treatments like microchanneling can work more effectively and more safely over time.

The person behind the protocol

Hi, I'm Alyssia.

My background is rooted in both clinical care and analytical study. I began in psychology and computer science while working as an ophthalmic technician, which gave me a strong foundation in anatomy, precision-based procedures, and evidence-driven decision making.

After navigating personal health challenges, I developed a focused interest in skin health, barrier repair, and inflammatory skin conditions. I deepened that interest through professional training and certification at Body Bar Academy. Having personally managed rosacea and Malassezia folliculitis, I understand what it means to treat compromised skin carefully, conservatively, and with long-term outcomes in mind.

My work today is centered on results-focused treatments that prioritize skin integrity, function, and longevity. I take a practical, science-based approach and believe in individualized care, realistic expectations, and treatments that support the skin rather than overwhelm it.

The Nylo Standard

Every treatment at Nylo Room is built around your skin's actual state, not a general protocol applied to everyone. Sessions are clinically guided, barrier-conscious, and designed to advance your skin without compromising its integrity in the process.

You will leave with a clear understanding of what was done, why it was done, and what comes next. The work does not stop when you leave the room.

Care, Calibrated.
