Corrective Facials Explained

A corrective facial isn't a more expensive version of a regular facial. The purpose is different.

A standard facial is maintenance. It cleanses, hydrates, and supports a skin barrier that's already in reasonable condition. A corrective facial starts with a clinical assessment and works backward from a specific skin concern: active acne, barrier dysfunction, hyperpigmentation, or congestion. The treatment is built around what the skin actually needs, not a fixed menu.

At Nylo, every new client starts with a Nylo Skin Session. That intake consultation maps the skin before anything goes on it, determines what's happening at the barrier level, and establishes what the treatment sequence should look like. It's not a formality. It's the foundation of every result that follows.

Corrective work operates on a timeline. One treatment can shift the skin's state, but meaningful correction rebuilds barrier function, reduces chronic inflammation, and evens pigmentation across a series. That timeline is part of the initial conversation, so there are no misaligned expectations.
